A financial institution was acquiring small, privately held accounting and ﬁnancial ﬁrms, whose owners do not have a natural succession plan and are looking to slowly scale back their role as they move towards retirement. As a part of this eﬀort, they need help developing the correct strategic position and brand to both attract potential ﬁrms and serve the brands they acquire by helping them retain their current customer base and expand their services.
Bolster conducted interviews with key stakeholders and developed a strategy that allowed the brand to scale and grow through acquisition while maintaining the trust and credibility that the legacy brands had built with their existing clientele. Beyond the traditional brand elements of logos, brand colors and brand fonts a tartan pattern was introduced as a symbol of family of companies.
